Tiger In Ranthambore National Park

Ranthambore National Park is home to the ferocious Royal Bengal Tigers. There are about 36 tigers in number who roam freely in their territory covering an area of 392 sq Km. The uniqueness of Ranthambore is that though it is the tiniest of the Project Tiger sanctuaries, it is also the best venue to get a clear view of the various tantrums of the tigers in their natural habitat. It is a beautiful experience to see the pugmark of the tigers which are distinct from each other. These pugmarks are important as they are used for counting the total numbers of tigers available in the sanctuary.

The most ferocious hero of Ranthambore wildlife sanctuary can be seen concealing themselves in the undergrowth of tall trees. During hot summers, these tigers relaxe by lying in shallow pools of water. The ferocious animal looks spectacular when it moves in a tiny group, a speacial feature of the National Park. A jeep safari helps in spotting the otherwise camera-shy unfriendly tigers.
